In This Hour: Heschel's Writings in Nazi Germany and London Exile, was edited by Rabbi Helen Plotkin, and published by Jewish Publication Society in 2019. In these never-before-translated works, Heschel digs deeply into Jewish sources to show how learning can be a path to “moral and spiritual recovery in the face of political catastrophe.” ​

Rabbi Plotkin is available to introduce these fascinating essays and to lead a group in a discussion of their profound contemporary relevance.
