Support Mekom Torah
Mekom Torah is a non-profit organization
that relies on voluntary contributions from donors at all levels. It operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, sharing that organization's 501(c)3 status. All adult programming is now tuition free.
Your donation in any amount, from $18 to $18,000, makes that possible. Suggested starting places for participant donations are as follows: Groups that meet once a month, such as Connecting to Prayers and Women's Cirlce: $100. Groups that meet about twice a month, such as Jewish Conversations and Lunchtime Torah: $200. Groups that meet weekly, such as Reading the Bible in Hebrew: $300. payable to "Mekom Torah," to this address: Mekom Torah P.O. Box 178 Swarthmore, PA 19081 If you wish to honor or memorialize someone through a donation to Mekom Torah, please enclose instructions so that we can send an honor card. Mekom Torah is seeking major donors.
Can you pledge $500, $1000, or $1800? How about $3000 or $5000? Or are you the angel that can fill the $10,000 spot at the top of our giving pyramid? Can you make a multi-year pledge? Any amount, large or small, that we can count on yearly or monthly is a great blessing. If you wish to discuss the needs of the program further, please contact Rabbi Helen Plotkin (rabbi@mekomtorah.org / 610-368-4065). The tuition for Mekom Torah High School this year is $300.
Need- based scholarships are available. Families who can afford more are encouraged to make additional contributions. (Note: Tuition is not tax-deductible, but additional contributions are.)
