Reading the Tradition in Hebrew

For people with a bit of familiarity with Hebrew vocabulary and grammar – you don’t have to be anything like a fluent Hebrew speaker for this! If you want to deepen your understanding of the language and delve into the meaning of the Bible, the prayer book, and the commentaries, this class is for you. Go beyond the translations to see the native beauty, power, and complexity of the text in its own language. Join in any time. (We review basic grammar as it comes up in the readings - not to worry if it's not at your fingertips.)

When: Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30 pm, beginning Oct 3, 2018, with breaks for some of the holidays.

Where: In the Library at Ohev Shalom in Wallingford, PA.

Led by: Rabbi Helen Plotkin
